2007 Fall Football Practice Report #15

After Wazzu head football coach Bill Doba announced that star wide receiver Brandon Gibson was at "70-75 percent" he made his first appearance in full pads this fall on Tuesday. Gibson participated in route-running drills, showing no signs of rust and catching balls in stride and with ease.

Also making his return to the gridiron was tight end and long snapper Tony Thompson. With the departure of long snapper Pete Hill, Thompson's role vastly improved this fall.

In Thompson's absence, redshirt freshman Zach Enyeart has assumed the long snapping duties. However, Thompson took the majority of the reps on Tuesday.

The defense took the field with no yellow jerseys. Safety Husain Abdullah and cornerback Markus Dawes were both ready for full contact in the scrimmage.
