Late visits for Waggner

Signing in-state prospects has been a big part of LSU's recent emergence as a top flight college football program. So far nine of the Tigers' 16 commitments hail from the Bayou State, but there is still work to be done for the LSU coaching staff when it comes to securing the state's borders.

One Louisiana prospect still available is Clinton corner Prentiss Waggner, who is being recruited by LSU Recruiting Coordinator Josh Henson. Waggner (6-2, 170) has not yet received an offer from the Tigers, but that doesn't mean the coaching staff isn't staying in touch with the four-star prospect.

"I talked to the LSU coaches at the (Middle Tennessee) game last Saturday," Waggner said.
