Orange keys to victory at Miami (OH)
Syracuse's challenge this Saturday is to come back down to earth.
The Orange hits the road to take on Miami (Ohio) after their stunning upset of Louisville last weekend.
The trip to Oxford, Ohio will be the first in the school's history as Syracuse battles the Redhawks.
Although the task certainly won't be as daunting as traveling to Papa John's Cardinals Stadium, the Orange will still need to keep their noses to the grindstone to beat a hungry 1-3 Redhawks team.
What are the keys to a second straight victory?
This game has all the makings of a trap for the Orange. Greg Robinson's team is flying high coming off a big win and the Redhawks do not look like an opposing team on paper.
The Orange beat Miami in the Dome last season 34-14, but they can't forget that before last weekend they were an 0-3 team coming off three straight blowouts.
The Redhawks are looking a lot like the Orange did prior to the Louisville game. They too have lost three straight (after winning their conference opener 14-13 over Ball State) and the games haven't been close.
Miami has lost by an average of 28.3 points to Minnesota, Cincinnati, and Colorado. Its most recent loss came at the hands of Colorado, 42-0.
However, two of the three losses came on the road and the Redhawks return to Oxford this Saturday.
The Orange better not have spent the week celebrating their win or it will come back to bite them Saturday.
