Two-minute drill

Texas A&M junior running back Jorvorskie Lane has become the MVP for A&M thus far in the Big 12 conference season, and most of his work had been in the second half of games. After two lackluster first halves against Baylor and Oklahoma State, the Aggies have ridden the J-Train to wins in the second half for two consecutive weeks.

A look at a few numbers from Texas A&M's 24-23 win over Oklahoma State.

17.6Texas A&M sophomore kicker Matt Szymanski's kickoffs pinned Oklahoma State to an average starting field position of the 17.6-yard line. Take away his two touchbacks, and OSU averaged a starting field positions of the 16-yard line.

5Oklahoma state sophomore Perrish Cox had 5 yards on three punt returns. He averages 13.5 yards per return this season.

69Texas A&M gained a total of 69 yards on offense in the first quarter against Oklahoma State

70Texas A&M gained 70 yards on its opening drive of the third quarter that resulted in a field goal.

120Texas A&M receiver Kerry Franks had 120 yards on four receptions Saturday. He was A&M's first 100-yard receiver since Martellus Bennett had 133 yards against Baylor on Oct. 28, 2006.
