A 'Bear' visits Corvallis

There's no question that this fall the Oregon State basketball coaching staff has had a smashing success recruiting in the Midwest. The Beavers have already landed two verbal commitments from the Class of 2008 for the early signing period, and it appears they could be in the mix for a third. Eshaunte Jones, a smooth 6-foot-4, 170-pound wing currently at Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia, has OSU on his radar as the former Indiana commitment known affectionately as "Bear" recently took in Corvallis on an unofficial visit.

Jones and his mother flew in to Oregon this past weekend to take in OSU and Corvallis. Since he flew in on Sunday he missed out on the team's informal scrimmage on Saturday prior to the football game, but he still got a chance to meet everyone in the program.
