Martin prepares team for Cal

With his team coming off back-to-back losses Frank Martin's Kansas State basketball team is feeling pressure to avoid making it three in a row when it hosts California this Sunday. The importance of this weekend's showdown with Bears was one of the most talked about topics during Martin's weekly teleconference with various members of the media.

On Sunday's game with California
"Once again, we're dealing with a high-level opponent. They have tremendous experience. They have a first-round pick in the center Hardin. They have the freshman of the year in the Pac-10 in Ryan Anderson. They have a point guard who is vastly experienced and played a whole lot last year. They have some wings and some depth. This is why we scheduled them two years ago. We felt that they have the kind of team that is going to challenge us and make us better.
