Bradham completes first and only official visit

This past weekend Florida State hosted five official visitors. One of those visitors was 6-foot-2, 224 pound linebacker Nigel Bradham of Crawfordville (FL) Wakulla High School. The five-star linebacker took his first and only official visit over the weekend, but it ended prematurely as he is experiencing another first - flying.

"I am in Atlanta in the airport," Bradham told Warchant.com. "I am going to Arizona today. I have to go to New York next weekend. I am going to San Antonio on December 30th for (the U.S. Army All-America Game)."

Bradham is traveling to Arizona because he is in the running for the EAS National Speed and Strength Award for Athlete of the Year. The award, also known as the Walter Payton Trophy, is presented to the Speed and Strength Athlete of the Year at the U.S. Army All-American Awards Dinner. The Payton Trophy is presented to the nation's top athlete who trains like a champion on the field and acts like a champion off the field.

As for the visit, Bradham had nothing but positives to report.
