KU cruises to 10-0 record
For the second time in as many games, No. 3 ranked Kansas (10-0; 0-0) looked like a Final Four team. In defeating Ohio (6-3; 0-0), 88-51, on Saturday afternoon, the Jayhawks exploded for 19 straight points in the first half and cruised to a 46-20 halftime lead. Bill Self's squad didn't back off in the second half, as Kansas won its tenth straight game. Jayhawk Slant was on hand and his reaction from the locker room.
Saturdays game between Kansas and Ohio, which was played inside the Sprint Center, was decided early on in the contest. Brandon Rush got KU on the board first with a three from the wing. After Ohio answered on the other end, Rush gave the Jayhawks a 6-3 lead with another three.
