Young players stand out in practice

For players buried under the depth chart or freshmen that are redshirting, developmental practices before bowl games becomes their chance to show coaches and older players what they can do. One player that used the last two weeks of practice to showcase his abilities was freshman cornerback Isiah Barfield.

"Isiah really jumped out at me," Aqib Talib said, "He never played corner in high school, but he looks so comfortable doing it. He is one of the quickest players on the team, I think he will be pretty good once he learns the defense."
