Washington felt at home in Athens

Georgia's received their first commitment for the 2008 class in July of 2006 and it came from four-star Rivals100 defensive end Cornelius Washington. Washington visited Athens for the final time before he signs his letter of intent over the weekend and he loved every minute of it.

"The visit was great and I had some of the most fun I have ever had," said Washington. "I hung out with my host Roderick Battle and some other plays like Prince Miller, C.J. Byrd and Antavious Coates."

"They were all real cool, they took me around and showed me a good time and they made me feel right at home. They were all straight and they treated me great."

Not only did he have a good time hanging out with the current Bulldogs, but he enjoyed his time with the other four commitments that visited UGA with him as well.

"We (A.J. Green, A.J. Harmon, DeAngelo Tyson and Sanders Commings) all know about each other and it was nice to hang out with them."

"We did not really talk about football to much, but we just got to know each other and enjoyed being around each other. We all know what we can do and we expect to do big things at Georgia."
