New offer, new official visit for QB Daniels

Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln quarterback B.J. Daniels has been one of the fastest risers on the national recruiting scene over the last several months. The 6-1, 203-pound signal caller has focused in on three schools with one of those schools recently making their interest more official.

Ranked as the No. 8 dual-threat quarterback in the nation, Daniels set new school records this past season with more than 2,500 passing yards and 34 touchdowns. He also ran for more than 700 yards and 11 scores. Football is not the only sport where Daniels excels, however. He averaged 19.5 points and 4.0 steals a game as a junior on the basketball floor and wants to play both sports in college.
