Will Memorial Magic bury another No. 1?

OUTLOOK
My how things have changed in the SEC East.

Two time defeinding national champ Florida is sitting on the bubble. Kentucky is still fresh off a 41-point waxing at the hands of Vanderbilt, and likely must win out to make the Field of 65. And over at Memorial, the two best teams in the league - Tennessee and Vandy - face off for bragging rights and, quite possibly, a shot at the league's only No. 1 tournament seed.

The SEC may well be down, but there is no doubt now that the 25-2 Vols are for real. UT is just hours away from Saturday night's win over previously undefeated and top-ranked Memphis in the FedEx Forum. Tennessee, as everyone in the free world now knows, is No. 1 in the nation for the first time in school history. With an 11-1 SEC record, the Vols are increasingly likely to win their first SEC title in over four decades.

Vanderbilt, however, is a solid No. 2 in the league. Sporting a 23-4 record, the Commodores are 8-4 in the SEC. Though they are actually one game behind Kentucky in the East, just 10 days ago VU beat UK by 41 points, the Cats' worst SEC loss in school history. Vanderbilt and Tennessee are the only two league teams considered locks for the NCAA Tournament.
