A Storm watch is in effect for 2010
A couple of the top sophomores at the NIKE Combine were from Buford and one of them was running back Storm Johnson. Johnson looked to put his stamp as one of the top players in his class.
He left with a shuttle time of 4.6, but he will not keep the others.
"I did alright out here today, but I will keep working at it at other camps because I know I can do better," Johnson said.
He measured in at 5-foot-11 and 196-pounds, and is excited about getting on the field next year.
"Buford is a good training for college since you have to wait for your turn to shine. Some think that depth hurts their kids, but it makes us better."
He has been working hard all year to get in shape, and it seems to be paying off. Multiple schools have been in contact with the young back.
