Brock talks TCU
Copperas Cove, Texas linebacker Tanner Brock has been a household name in recruiting circles since his dominating sophomore year. Now entering his senior year, Brock who has amassed close to 300 tackles and been named first-team class 4A All-State the last two seasons, is considered one of the top players at his position in the Lone Star State.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pounder has two offer on the table from TCU, (where older brother Logan plays) and Tulsa.. Others, such as Oklahoma are starting to show interest.
"No more offers yet," Brock said. "TCU and Tulsa are the only ones. My coach talked with the DC from Oklahoma, Coach Venables, last Friday and he said he was impressed with me. They said they are going to come down and watch me in the spring."
Some feel that since older brother Logan plays ball at TCU that Tanner has already made plans to follow in his brother's footsteps to Ft. Worth. However, he said that isn't the case just yet.
"No sir, I haven't committed to TCU," he said. "They're definitely still near the top. They're still recruiting me the most. I plan on being there to watch the spring game."
As for other favorites Brock is keeping an open mind and hopes to have a decision by the summer.
"I probably won't decide anything until after spring ball and around summer time. I'm keeping an open mind to everyone because I've only got the two offers right now."
