North Carolina star visits UGA
The Rivals100 is full of the top players in the country from top to bottom and one prospect listed visited the University of Georgia over the weekend. Running Back Desmond Scott made the trip down from the Tarheel State and he had a nice visit to Athens.
"I got to watch practice, sit in on the meetings, watch some film, talk to the coaches, and tour the facilities," Scott said about his visit to Georgia for Junior Day.
"I have been there so many times that I did not really see anything new that stood out to me, but it was all very nice."
"The facilities are great and they said they will be expanding over the next couple of years and have a new and bigger weight room. They said it would be ready by my freshman or sophomore year if I decided to go to Georgia."
The number 71 rated player in the country saw what Georgia football was all about during his visit.
"I got to see hands on how the coaches coach and how the players play," said Scott. "I watched some film with the running backs from their practice the day before first before the scrimmage, so I got to watch the scrimmage from their point of view. The running backs looked real impressive and I saw I needed to get bigger if I wanted to do that well."
"I watched mostly the running backs while I was there (he had to leave a little earlier than most recruits) and I tried to see how what they were doing could help me in the future. It was nice to watch those guys and they were all competitive, so I think I learned a few things."
