Savage is set to visit Georgia
Rivals100 quarterback Tom Savage out of Philadelphia is set to visit the University of Georgia for the first time this weekend and he is excited about it.
"It is going to be my first visit to Georgia and I am anxious to get down there," said Savage. "I have seen them on T.V. and I have heard so many great things about Georgia, so I am ready to get down there to see if it is a school that I could be at for 4 or 5 years."
Most recruits that visit a school for the first time have tons of questions that they are looking for the answers to, but Savage says the coach recruiting him for UGA has taken care of that.
"Coach Mike Bobo has done a great job recruiting me and he has been very honest and upfront with me. He has told me how many quarterbacks they want in this class, he has let me know who they like, and he has answered all the questions I have asked him."
"I know their current situation and Coach Bobo and I talk about every other day through email and then we talk on the phone some too. I just want to get down there to see the campus, watch the spring game, and things like that. I don't have too many questions for the coaches."
The 6-foot-3, 231-pound signal caller thinks being there for G-Day will help him get a feel for how Georgia does things.
"I know it is just a spring game, but I am excited to see the Georgia offense, see how the coaches coach, how they coach their players, and how the team acts out there. It is not a real game, but it is very close to it, so I think I could learn a lot from it."
