KU, UNC ready to run

The match-up fans have anticipated has finally arrived. Everyone knew it was going to have to be in a tournament setting, which makes the first meeting between Kansas (35-3, 13-3) and North Carolina (36-2, 14-2) since Roy Williams left, even more special. UNC loves to run up and down, while Kansas can play any style of basketball needed to win a game. Two of the elite programs in the country are set to play for a chance at Monday's National Championship against either UCLA or Memphis.

Most of the talk as been about Williams' relationship with KU, but the game comes down to whether either defense can slow down the opposing offensive attack. Saturday's meeting should be one for the ages as Brandon Rush and his fellow Jayhawks will try to take down the Tar Heels.
