Spring practice is down to the Spring Game
While it was a decent day in Corvallis with the sun showing and moderate winds, the Oregon State football squad decided to stay indoors for its final practice of the spring season. The Beavers struggled in some areas on both sides of the football, unfortunately indicating that the finale was not a testament of their progress from day one.
Playmakers rose up to the occasion from time to time though, and coaches still did a tremendous job of keeping their players on task and motivating them to keep working hard. A lot of popping was going on out there again today, which only means that they are looking forward to hitting somebody this Saturday at the annual spring game. Here is what I witnessed with my two eyes at the Merrit Truax Center:
