Joseph tweaks summer conditioning sked
MORGANTOWN--No one is "reinventing the wheel," so to speak, when it comes to running football strength-and-conditioning programs.
First year S&C director Mike Joseph will admit that.
"But everyone, I think, has their own plan about how they go about doing it," the first year coach and former Fairmont State running back said Thursday.
Where former S&C director Mike Barwis and his team had West Virginia lifting almost exclusively on Monday-Wednesday-and-Fridays and getting the club's speed and agility work in on Tuesday and Thursdays, Joseph, who came from the Notre Dame staff, will have this summer's version of the Mountaineers lifting a bit each of the five work days.
