Ash has a top five
One problem facing most recruits these days is the quickening of the commitment process. For your average recruit, taking official visits is the most effective way to see their schools of choice, because taking the same visits in an unofficial capacity would mean that they would have to foot the bill themselves. However, because schools are pursuing commitments from prospects earlier and earlier, a lot of recruits will never utilize their official visits, and will probably not get to see all of the schools they wanted to.
After all, flying is very expensive these days, making the cost of unofficial visits generally unreasonable. That's why Nick Ash is really happy these days to have a father who works for a major airline company.
