Top Ten Tigers: Strong safety net

Fall camp is now just five days away. Over the next week, leading up to the day of the first practice, PowerMizzou.com will count down the ten most important Tigers for the 2008 season. The list was made up with a look at past performance, expected impact during the 2008 season and depth at any given position. Today, we continue the countdown.

5. William Moore

Why he's on the list: When Brown went down last season, no one was sure how the Tiger defense would respond. Turned out, his absence was hardly a huge problem as Moore stepped up to fill the void. Willy Mo is regarded as one of America's best (if not the very best) safeties entering the season and his presence should be a great help to the Tiger cornerbacks. In addition, he is the emotional leader of a defense that is expected to be the best the Tigers have fielded in years.
