Johnson has plenty of speed to burn

After his film debuted on Rivals.com last week, many Texas A&M fans got very excited over the commitment of Klein Collins linebacker Malcolm Williams. The 6-foot-2, 211-pound defender showed tremendous speed and also played with seemingly reckless abandon.

In fact, even though the honor is usually reserved for running backs or corners, Johnson recently set the Collins' school record in the forty-yard dash with a time of 4.46 seconds. The Tigers have a board in the weightroom with a list of the top tests in school history and it has included another familiar name to A&M fans - current Aggie tailback Mike Goodson.

"I've been looking at that wall since I was in 8th grade," said Johnson. "I never thought I would be up there. It was a great accomplishment. I actually wasn't even thinking about it and didn't realize I had broken the record until the next day. We went in the weightroom and saw the record was a 4.49 and Jesse Beauchamp was like, 'Man, you broke the record with your 4.46.' It was cool, especially with Mike being up on the board and the player he is now."
