Video: Dell rapidly becoming Hoyer's go-to receiver

EAST LANSING - After catching 20 passes as a true freshman one year ago, Farmington Hills Harrison wide receiver Mark Dell made it his goal to emerge as Michigan State's No. 1 wide receiver in 2008.

With Devin Thomas no longer an option for Brian Hoyer, Dell is fast becoming the Spartans' go-to receiver.

Dell was the leading receiver during Michigan State's Green and White game last spring and since that time the 6-foot-2 sophomore has continued getting better.

During Saturday's scrimmage, Dell was the go-to receiver for Hoyer. The former Harrison star finished with 3 receptions for 97 yards including an 18-yard touchdown pass from Hoyer that proved to be one of just a handful of highlights for the No. 1 offense against a motivated Spartan defense.
