Yes, we are still over five months out from the 2009 class signing their letter of intent, but we have been on road evaluating underclassmen as much as we have seniors over the past year.

Denzel McCoy: Northview - Duluth, Ga.

Defensive Tackle - 6-4, 275

Quick Hitter: McCoy plays with very good technique and he can play inside or outside in high school. He is quick off the ball and he has good punch. He is the ideal size for a top defensive tackle recruit.

DeMarco McNeal: Banneker - College Park, Ga.

Defensive Back/Wide Receiver - 5-11, 180, 4.6

Quick Hitter: McNeal loves to catch passes, but he will likely become a more sought after cornerback. He is very long, he has good hips, and he is physical. He doesn't have blinding speed, but he is quick, so corner or safety is likely where he will end up.

Nash Nance: Darlington - Rome, Ga.

Quarterback - 6-3, 192

Quick Hitter: Nance has a lot of the tools that big time schools are looking for in a top quarterback recruit. He has the size, the intelligence, the leadership skills, the arm, and the potential. What he does not have yet is experience, but he will get that this fall.
