Sims stole the show at running back

While there was a lot of doubt about the top player at many positions in Oklahoma's camps it's hard to argue that James Sims was not only the camp's top running back prospect, but was so by some distance. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound back from Irving (Texas) Macarthur may have only worked out for one session of one day of camp, but his talent was noticeable from the first moment.

With just one day of camp Sims wasn't able to focus too heavily on learning new things but instead focused on the way Oklahoma wants to do things.

"(Cale Gundy) was just going over the steps and how they use their running backs and what they want them to do," Sims explained. "He then was asking me if my hands were good and I told him I played receiver last year and I could definitely catch.

"So he threw me some balls and I did well."
