Webb off to hot start

Jordan Webb has been one of the more impressive performers throughout the first month of the high school football season. The 6-foot-1, 201-pound pro-style quarterback from Union (MO) High School has done his damage through the air and on the ground. After another impressive showing last Friday night, Webb quickly turned his attention towards KU's Saturday night game against Sam Houston State. For the first time this season, the three-star prospect made his way to Lawrence for a visit.

During his junior season at Union, Webb, the No. 30 ranked pro-style quarterback in the class of 2009, threw for 4,308 yards and tossed 55 touchdowns to just seven interceptions. On the ground, he rushed for 633 yards and 11 touchdowns.
