Johnson Isn't Letting Tough Times Slow Him Down

Eddie Johnson came into this season with such high hopes with a senior quarterback headed to Tennessee it seemed that the 6-foot-4, 210-pound wide receiver from Midlothian, Texas was on the verge of a massive year but so far has suffered somewhat due to injuries to future Tennessee Volunteer signal-caller Bryce Petty.

Johnson on the season has 20 catches for 249-yards and just one touchdown but the big receiver says that it's been a team effort that has been problematic for his squad.

"Our problem is our offensive line, we make mistakes at times, but last game our offensive line gave up four to five sacks," Johnson said. "You have to be fair though, sometimes the line is really good. We've got four new guys and they are getting the experience. We've got two sophomores so there will always be something to learn then."

Johnson says he isn't too worried about his current stats, for now he is just worrying about his own play and finding the level of play that helps he and his team the most.
