Bruins land top 2010 prospect
The Bruins received their first verbal commitment from the class of 2010 and it is as very good one. This is a case of keeping it all in the family as the Bruins kept this one in the family. The Bruins landed quite possibly one of the top three wide receiver prospects out of the Golden State for the class of 2010 and he has outstanding bloodlines.
The newest Bruin commit is wide receiver Paul Richardson (6-2, 175, 4;5) from Los Alamitos, Calif.
"Paul grew up in a UCLA household, but grew up wanting to play for the Miami Hurricanes," Paul Richardson, Sr., the newest UCLA pledge dad said. "When he was younger he thought the beach, the girls and the football."
"Then his thoughts changed and he started thinking about staying on the west coast," Richardson said. "I didn't expect him to make his decision this early.
"Paul was also getting looks for basketball so I thought he was going to take some official visits and go through the recruiting process a little bit," Richardson said. "He came up to me and said that he thought he has made his mind up on where he wants to go to school and he told me it was UCLA."
