CBE Classic could be learning expereince

The last time a young and inexperienced Kansas team participated in a pre-Thanksgiving holiday tournament, the results weren't good. During the 2005-06 season, Bill Self took a team dominated by freshmen and sophomores to Maui for the Maui Invitational with the hopes of winning the tournament. At the end of the event, Self's squad managed to win just one game, beating Chaminade on the final day. With games against Washington and Florida or Syracuse on the horizon, Self has different expectations this time around.

When Kansas participated in the Maui Classic during the 2005-06 season, its roster was dominated by young and inexperienced players. Russell Robinson, Brandon Rush, Sasha Kaun, Julian Wright and Mario Chalmers are some of some of the players that made the trip to Maui.
