Wannstedt seeing 'old Pat White'
MORGANTOWN-The biggest difference between a West Virginia offense that he saw earlier in the year and the one that will operate Friday in the 101st rendition of "The Backyard Brawl," according to Pitt coach Dave Wannstedt, is that it has become more Pat White-centric.
White, of course, became the NCAA's career rushing leader among quarterbacks as he ran for 200 yards and three touchdowns in last Saturday's 35-21 victory at Louisville, which gives the Mountaineers-at least in theory-a shot at another Big East Conference championship and rights to a BCS bowl. Cincinnati 9-2 overall, 5-1) would have to be upset by Syracuse at Nippert Stadium, this Saturday at noon (Big East Game of the Week).
