Gramling adds more offers

Denton Ryan had one of the most prolific offenses in Texas high school history this season. Junior quarterback Scotty Young threw for 4,495 yards and 65 touchdowns, falling just shy of current Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell's single-season record.

A big part of the Raiders' success was the protection afforded to the quarterback by the offensive line. Anchoring that line was junior tackle Garrett Gramling, who has been offered by several colleges as of late.

"Yes sir, I've gotten a few more offers since last time I talked to you," said the 6-foot-6, 305-pound Gramling. "Then, I had ones from Texas Tech and Arkansas. Since then, I've been offered by Texas A&M, Baylor and Arizona. I'm not sure exactly the dates when they all offered, but they were all before Christmas break."

With the exception of Arizona, Gramling has already made unofficial visits to each of the campuses of the schools that have offered. He has not truly set a schedule for attending junior days this spring, but says that he has one trip planned as of right now.
