Younger Dorsey eyeing A&M

Texas A&M defensive tackle Adren Dorsey is generally considered to be one of the potential bright spots in the Aggie defense next year. The former Tyler John Tyler product's blend of power and quickness drew everyone's attention in August practices and it was widely thought that he would see the field just weeks after arriving on the A&M campus. However, Dorsey was injured and was redshirted not just in order to heal but also allow him to spend time in the weihtroom and also acclimate himself to college.

Interestingly enough for A&M fans, the 6 foot 3, 275 pound Dorsey spent his senior year in high school playing alongside his younger brother Ashton Dorsey who has turned out to be a fine player in his own right, starting 22 consecutive games. It's hard not to compare the two players when evaluating them and they do have some similarities both on and off of the field. Both are quick enough to start for their basketball teams in high school at center and also are accomplished in field events on the track team. Nonetheless, Ashton indicated that there were some differences between himself and his brother.
