Ducks add Nebraska quarterback

Omaha (Neb.) Central quarterback Daryle Hawkins was considering several options for his college career before, but a new opportunity just surfaced in the last couple days and the 6-4, 190-pound quarterback jumped on it. Hawkins detailed his decision and Omaha Central head coach Jay Ball talked about more about Hawkins' future.

Hawkins has been a part of three state championship team in three sports. His basketball team has won three straight state titles and this past spring he was the state champion in triple jump, he finished second in the high jump and fastest preliminary time in 110 hurdles, but rolled his ankle before the finals.
