Self talks about KU's possible seed

Instead of preparing to capture its fourth straight Big 12 tournament Championship on Saturday evening, Kansas, having been eliminated by Baylor in the quarterfinals, arrived at Allen Fieldhouse in the late afternoon to take the court for its second practice session of the day. Before taking the court, Bill Self and several Jayhawks addressed the media for the first time since returning to Lawrence. Jayhawk Slant was on hand and has the very latest, including what seed Self thinks KU will be awarded on Sunday.

Aldrich and his teammates would love nothing more than to spend the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament playing in-front of a sold-out Sprint Center. However, a quarterfinal loss to Baylor on Thursday could possibly prevent the Jayhawks from playing in Kansas City next weekend.
