SoCal Athlete has offers coast-to-coast

When recruitneks stand around the water cooler and talk about the best players that the Golden State has to offer in the class of 2010, the name of four-star athlete Ronald Powell (6-4, 240, 4.78) from Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde will definitely come up.

Powell already looks like a NFL player and has the ability to make an impact on any side of the ball. His name is already well known among college coaches and he has an abundant amount offers coast-to-coast.

Powell already has offers from most of the Pac 10, SEC, WAC, Mountain West and the Big 12, which is highly unusual for a west coast athlete this early in the recruiting process. He will pretty much be able to write his ticker wherever he wants to go.

"I haven't narrowed anything down yet," Powell said. "I'm not in a hurry, I still have a year to play."

"The only school I know is USC," Powell said. "I know how USC runs things. I know the coaches and I'm comfortable with them."

"I definitely want to take a trip to Florida, Tennessee and USC," Powell said. "I don't know much about the other schools."
