Video: Don't doubt Thomas

Ohio State defensive end Solomon Thomas had a jersey scrimmage to remember with seven sacks en route to a 56-55 win by the defense to take over the scarlet jerseys for the remainder of practice.

Thomas has been buried on an extremely deep depth chart but made a very loud statement with his performance against the offense. Of course it is hard to translate what happened in a controlled scrimmage to what would happen in live action. For the first half of the closed practice both Terrelle Pryor and Joe Bauserman were protected by wearing black no-contact jerseys.

But even with all of that the West Chester (Ohio) native was unstoppable and gave several members of the offensive lines fits coming off the edge from a two-point stance.

Thomas' performance was the talk of the town after the scrimmage and the defensive end's teammates were raving about this breakthrough outing during postgame interviews.

We caught up with Thomas and his teammates after the game to hear about his big production and how he has really turned it on this spring practice period.
