While healing, Jones hopes to take visits
Many colleges have been attempting to have prospects on campus during the spring for junior days, spring practices or spring games. With the end of spring practice, college coaches typically hit the recruiting trail for evaluations during the month of May. As a result, it's more difficult for colleges to host prospsects in May, especially since many high schools are holding their own spring practices.
Denison running back D.J. Jones has taken only one unofficial visit so far, a visit to Oklahoma in January. With Denison's spring practice beginning next month, it's going to be more difficult for Jones to find time to take unofficial visits. Denison head coach Cody White has indicated on a couple of occasions in the past month that Jones would be heading to College Station to see the A&M campus. Jones himself has said in past interviews that he was intending to go to visit A&M for a spring practice or even A&M's spring game, but was unable to make it. Nonetheless, it remains Jones' intention to take unofficial visits at some point in the near future.
