AU coaches, not arrival, impress top DB

Four-star cornerback DeMarcus Milliner, the highest-ranked in-state prospect in's 2010 Rivals100, made his first trip to Auburn last weekend to check out the Tigers.

Wednesday, the Tigers were in Millbrook checking in on him.

Seven Auburn coaches, the most allowed out on the road at one time by the NCAA during the evaluation period, made a stop at Stanhope Elmore High.

The Tigers' coaches arrived in a stretch white Hummer limousine with Auburn flags flapping from the windows and Auburn magnets on the doors.

"They pulled up in the Hummer and it looked like it was off 'Pimp My Ride'. It was big," said the 6-foot, 180-pound Milliner. "Students and teachers went out there and took pictures with the coaches and were trying to get autographs."
