Two-way standout lands first offer
Two-way standout Hroniss Grasu (6-4, 265, 4.87) from Encino (Calif.) Crespi has received his first offer. Though Grasu plays both defensive end and offensive center at this time he is getting more looks for his talents as a defensive lineman.
Nevada was the first school to offer Grasu a scholie.
"I was so relieved and very excited when Nevada offered," Grasu said. "They have gone to four straight bowl games and that is awesome. Nevada's head coach (Chris Ault) is in the college football Hall of Fame."
"I'm looking into taking an unofficial visit to Nevada this summer."
