Miller gets first taste of Michigan action

Formerly of Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips, Michigan wide receiver commitment Ricardo Miller transferred this summer to a school closer to his college destination, making the switch to Ann Arbor Pioneer. On Thursday evening, he got his first taste of action with his new team, with Pioneer hosting the likes of Jackson Lumen Christi, Northville and others for a scrimmage.

"It felt great," explained Miller following the action. "It wasn't Florida competition, but here in Michigan there's some good competition. I got a real good feel for my team in this scrimmage. I saw a lot of the potential that we have. I'm expecting great things from us."
