Lyons, Glover could play Saturday in key showdown

MORGANTOWN-Based on what head coach Bill Stewart said Monday morning, chances for safety Sidney Glover and wide receiver Wes Lyons to play Saturday appear promising.

"Wes is OK. He could have played. I saw him pull it. He stretched to catch a low ball. I saw where he pulled his ham-string. It's a slight pull. He is fine. I pulled him for the rest of the game for precautionary reasons," Stewart said in a brief 10-minute summary of the Liberty game.

West Virginia (1-0) beat Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) visitor Liberty, 33-20, before 57,950 sun-baked fans at Milan Puskar Stadium.
