Sims enjoys game, ready for his own

With his game rained out on Friday night Abilene, Texas star running back Herschel Sims was undoubtedly ready to see some football for himself, even if he didn't get to take part in it. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound running back who averaged over 10-yards a carry as a sophomore found his way to Arlington, Texas to watch Oklahoma take on BYU.

The speedy running back that has been mentioned as one of the nation's best at his position for the class of 2011, says that while the game didn't come out like he expected, or wanted, it to he still enjoyed the experience at Dallas' new football Mecca.

"I was there, it was real nice, the stadium was unbelievable and I had a good time," Sims said. "I was just enjoying being there. I wasn't worried about it, of course I wanted them to win but it's their first game, they are going to be shaky. They have things to work on but, it doesn't really have an effect on my feelings about them."
