O-line working to improve

Despite owning two blowout victories, it is no secret that the University of Tulsa has struggled along the offensive line in the season's first two contests. Inexperience and mental mistakes up front have kept the TU running game from exploding, but Hurricane head coach Todd Graham believes the pieces are in place to progress quickly.

"It's probably about where we thought it would be and not where we want it to be," Graham said on Monday. "We have three new guys and a lot of miscommunication, technique errors and things like that. But we have great potential.

"We're playing a true freshman (Trent Dupy) at center. David Lazenby is doing a solid job at the tackle position. We've been pleased with the tackle position. Tyler Holmes is a really good player and returning starter there.
