Vanderbilt gets revenge in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--A 28-11 run early in the first half helped but South Carolina away, as the Commodores avenged an 83-75 defeat in Columbia with a 78-60 rout in Nashville.

Eleven of those points came from Jeffery Taylor, which included 3s to start and end the run, as VU led 58-36 with 10:26 left.

Carolina, which trailed 30-23 at the half, never got closer than 14 from there.

John Jenkins (18 points), Taylor and Festus Ezeli (17 each), and Brad Tinsley (13) had double-figure scoring for Vandy.

The No. 23 Commodores (16-6, 4-4 Southeastern Conference) hit 11-of-20 3-pointers on the day.
