Offers continue for Hill

Early in the spring, Collierville (Tenn.) native and massive offensive lineman Brandon Hill collected his share of BCS offers. That trend has continued this summer for the 6-foot-6 and 350-pound Hill.

"Georgia was my latest offer and I got that offer when I went to camp there," said Hill. "It was definitely a great offer to get and a great camp. I may go back there later this summer, too."

Before his stop in Athens, Ga., Hill also attended a pair of Magnolia State schools and camped at Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

"Everything went good at Mississippi State," noted Hill. "They are building a new football facility and that is going to be great and they already have a good-looking campus. It was also good practicing with coach John Hevesy and he is a great coach. He shoots you straight and tells you like it is. Overall, I just liked the environment at the camp and with their program."

Hill added he also enjoyed his time at Ole Miss' camp.

"It was good at Ole Miss and I liked it there a lot, too," said Hill. "Coach (Mike) Markuson is a good coach and it was fun working with him, too. He is also a straight-up guy and pushes you to be the best you can on the offensive line."

Along with MSU, Ole Miss and Georgia, Hill also owns offers from Nebraska, Southern Miss and Memphis. Concerning his college decision, Hill said he has no favorite but does favor one elite conference.

"I have always dreamed of playing in the SEC," said Hill. "I don't have a main favorite right now, though, and I am not in a rush to make my decision. My main factor is going to be academics and looking at the educational programs at these schools. I want to major in sports management and I am checking out which school has the best program for that major."
