2- Five-star prospects coming to the ACC
13- Four-star prospects coming to the ACC
7- Three-star ranked prospects coming to the ACC
12- Number of states represented by Rivals150 ACC recruits
6- Recruits from North Carolina coming to the ACC, the most of any state
The big recruiting story in the ACC, and one of the biggest nationally, is the successful efforts of first-year North Carolina State coach Mark Gottfried and his staff. Both five-star prospects entering the ACC will be wearing N.C. State jerseys. With four-star point guard Tyler Lewis joining five-star prospects Rodney Purvis and T.J. Warren in the class, North Carolina State has the top recruiting class in the ACC and the No. 4 ranked class nationally.

Joining NC State in the top 10 national rankings is nearby rival North Carolina, who has a class of four four-star prospects - Marcus Paige, Brice Johnson, Joel James and J.P. Tokoto.

Georgia Tech, Florida State and Virginia are the three other ACC teams in the national rankings. Between the three teams there are five four-star recruits and three ranked three-star recruits.

There is no shortage of sharpshooters entering the ACC next year. NC State has a couple of them in Warren and Purvis. Duke only has one recruit in its class, but Rasheed Sulaimon is one of the top shooters in the country.

Wake Forest point guard recruit Codi Miller-McIntyre can fill it up from outside as can North Carolina point guard recruit Marcus Paige. Georgia Tech has a pair of wing scores in Marcus Hunt and Chris Bolden. And Virginia's Evan Nolte and Miami's Melvin Johnson are known for their outside scoring ability.

Versatile Athletes

Florida State's Montay Brandon wins the most versatile category for the conference, but his isn't the only rangy and versatile athlete headed to the ACC. Virginia's Justin Anderson is one of the top forward athletes in the country.

J.P. Tokoto, who is headed to North Carolina, is known for his athletic play in the transition game. Montrezl Harrell of Virginia Tech is an explosive combo forward. And Wake Forest's Arnaud Adala Moto is physical wing who can wear a lot of hats.
