2014 offensive lineman is a Gator fan
Richard Bush, the Florida Gators have always been one of his favorite college football teams. The young offensive lineman has not been receiving much early interest, but he hopes that his superb work ethic will earn him the attention of college football programs across the country. For 2014 Tampa (Fla.) "You have no idea how excited I am for spring practice. I can't wait to improve," Bush said.
Bush's excitement at a chance to improve is something that he hopes will help him to gain interest from top programs, especially, his childhood favorite, Florida.
"Oh yeah. I'm a Florida fan," he said.
Despite his desire to become a well-respected football prospect, Bush is not overly worried about the future.
"I can only worry about the things I can control, which is getting stronger and better. I will let everything else take care of itself," Bush said.
As a long time Gator fan, Bush is using one of his role models, Tim Tebow, as an example. Bush is doing his best to emulate the work ethic of the Heisman Trophy winning quarterback.
"I read [Tebow's book] last year. It was such a good read," he said.
The 6-foot-2, 250-pound tackle is definitely not afraid of working hard. Bush is hopeful that his efforts on the football field will pay off by earning him scholarship offers in the coming year.
Even though, Bush is a fan of the Gators, he would love to hear from a myriad of other schools. At this point, Bush does not really have an idea of which schools he would like to receive interest from.
"I'm just waiting to start off the process. I haven't really thought about it yet," Bush said.
