FEATURED HEADLINE

Shawn Hunwick stands tall one last time for Michigan hockey team and more NCAA tournament notes
Pete Cunningham • AnnArbor.com
Hunwick had 21 saves in the Wolverines' 3-2 loss to Cornell, including one on a penalty shot in the second period that kept Michigan in the game and kept the Wolverines in position to come back, but he didn't steal the game like he has so many times in the past.

Chris Balas • TheWolverine.com
Some tidbits from spring ball, this time the offense. How much time will Devin Gardner see at wide receiver, and what's going on with the offensive line?.

BASKETBALL

Should Trey Burke stay in school, or leave early? A look at both sides
Nick Baumgardner • AnnArbor.com
Should he stay? Should he go? That's for he and his family to decide, and they have every right to explore both avenues. Here's a case for both sides of the coin:

Michigan guard Trey Burke's former coach understands draft decision, but isn't forcing advice
Mark Snyder • The Detroit Free Press
Though many boil it down to his projected selection status, either from conversations with league personnel, the NBA general managers' advisory committee or outsiders the family trusts, the choice is more layered.

Grading the 2011-12 Michigan basketball seniors: Zack Novak, Stu Douglass, Corey Person
Nick Baumgardner • AnnArbor.com
As a class, they won 81 games, advanced to three NCAA Tournaments and earned the program's first Big Ten championship banner in 26 years. Not a bad resume.

RECRUITING

Hosey impressed on Michigan visit
Tim Sullivan • TheWolverine.com
Detroit Cass Tech has been known to send many of its top football players to Michigan, but until recently, that was not the case for Farmington Hills (Mich.) Harrison. Linebacker Gary Hosey has seen both sides, playing his sophomore year of football at Harrison, but transferring to Cass Tech this winter, where he'll play as a junior in 2012.

HOCKEY

22 in a row: Former and current Michigan hockey players share memories from NCAA tournament streak
Pete Cunningham • AnnArbor.com
Former Michigan players were asked to share their most memorable moments from each year of the streak.

Oh, what a (very bad) night
Michael Spath • TheWolverine.com
For the second time in a week, Michigan sports fans were reminded that being the favorite with high expectations doesn't mean anything in the NCAA Tournament if the Wolverines don't give their best effort. A lackluster performance did in the basketball team against Ohio and has now ended the hockey team's season too.

SOFTBALL

Michigan softball opens Big Ten play with two mercy rule-shortened wins over Penn State
Angela Cesere • AnnArbor.com
