Behind final-day All-America swims from sophomore Connor Jaeger (Rumson, N.J./Rumson-Fair Haven), sophomore Sean Ryan (Hixson, Tenn./McCallie School) and senior Dan Madwed (Stamford, Conn./Towson), the University of Michigan men's swimming and diving team wrapped a fifth-place finish at the 2012 NCAA Championships on the final day of competition Saturday (March 24) inside the Weyerhaeuser Aquatic Center.


Ferris State 2, Cornell 1: Bulldogs head to first Frozen Four

The Bulldogs beat Cornell, 2-1, on Saturday night to win the Midwest Regional at the Resch Center. The Bulldogs knocked off Denver, 2-1, on Friday night. Ferris State will face Union (N.Y.) on April 5 in Tampa.

Report: Sandusky 'likely pedophile'

A psychologist who looked into a 1998 allegation against former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky told police at the time that his behavior fit the profile of a likely pedophile, NBC News reported Saturday.
