Senior linebacker Kenny Demens and junior left tackle Taylor Lewan were named Monday to the watch list for the Lombardi Award, which is presented to the nation's top linebacker or lineman.

Those driving by the Big House next year can expect a landscape change: University of Michigan Athletic Director David Brandon is seeking approval to install a $2.8 million electronic marquee that can be viewed from Stadium Boulevard.

Michigan WR Jerald Robinson's pretrial hearing adjourned again

Michigan regents to consider new Crisler Center marquee, Schembechler Hall renovation

According to the agenda items released today, the Schembechler Hall entrance and museum renovation would add 7,000 square feet and renovate 7,000 more square feet to "create an appropriate new entrance for the home of Michigan football, integrating the museum area."

The passion for the sport has made the 6-5 standout one of the top players in the Midwest regardless of class, a coveted scorer who will probably have his choice of schools when it's time to decide.

Charlotte (N.C.) Providence 2014 offensive lineman Bentley Spain picked up an offer from Michigan in March, and was planning to visit Ann Arbor this summer. Although he probably won't be able to make that trip, he still has high interest in the Wolverines. He also plans to make it to the Great Lakes State eventually.
