Tuesday's Top Tigers

Tuesday's Top Tigers makes its return to PowerMizzou.com. A player's ranking one week has no bearing on his placement on the list the next week. Here is our take on the Tigers who had the best performances in the 41-20 loss to Georgia:

Tuesday's Top Tigers
1 Will Ebner, LB Ebner led the Tigers with nine tackles and was generally all over the field. And that came after a week where it was not a given he would be healthy enough to play.NR
2 Brad Madison, DE Madison had two sacks and both came at big times for the Tiger defense. If he keeps this up, he won't be the third DE for long. NR
3 Brad McNulty, OL McNulty came in for the first meaningful snaps of his career at center. The snaps to quarterback got better and Missouri's line as a whole improved after that point. NR
4 E.J. Gaines, CB The Bulldogs tested Gaines early. He is looking more and more like a lockdown corner on one side of the field. He finished with a TFL and two pass breakups. NR
5 Marcus Lucas, WR He led the Tigers with six catches for 88 yards and a touchdown. If he could have corralled the final pass of the first half, he'd probably top the list...and Missouri may have won the game. NR
6 Donovan Bonner, LB Bonner filled in after an injury to Zaviar Gooden. He ended with four tackles, a forced fumble and an interception and should quite possibly be higher on this list. NR
7 L'Damian Washington, WR Washington had Missouri's biggest play, a 69-yard touchdown catch. He had 81 yards total and was open but missed on a few more plays. NR
8 Gahn McGaffie, WR McGaffie grabbed five passes for 34 yards including a couple that moved the chains. Definitely a solid contribution from the spring and fall camp breakout. NR
9 Trey Barrow, P Barrow averaged 42.5 yards per punt and put two inside the 20. Now if he was just a little bit faster... NR
10 Sheldon Richardson, DT Perhaps Richardson wasn't dominant, but the Bulldogs didn't have a ton of room to run and he was moved all over the formation. Sheldon had five tackles, one for a loss, and a hurry. 2
11 Zaviar Gooden, LB Gooden had eight tackles and was very, very active before leaving in the second half with a hamstring injury. 7
